Gluten-free, Vegan Chocolate Tart

Shellee: "I’m always looking for yummy recipes that are EASY! This tart fits the bill! The consistency of the center is mousse-like. Here’s the recipe!"



2 cups almond flour
1/2 cup cacao powder
1/3 cup maple syrup
3 Tbsp coconut oil, melted

1 cup dark chocolate chips (you can substitute whatever chocolate you like; I’m sure it would also be good using white chocolate chips or butterscotch chips)
13.5 oz can full-fat coconut milk



1.  Heat coconut milk over low heat and warm it up. Add chocolate, stir to ensure it melts thoroughly and set aside.
2.  Combine Crust ingredients, mixing well. Pour into 9” tart pan (with removable bottom) and press down until compact.
3.  Pour chocolate filling into crust and refrigerate at least 2-3 hours to set or overnight.
